When you’re working in the fast-moving world of technology, product availability is critical – which makes the availability of raw materials for production critical too. Our Material Planning team provides a controlled flow of materials to meet production requirements. We produce detailed schedules, adapting them if necessary to meet backlogs or material shortages, as well as material requirement lists and production plans that balance the demand and supply position of platforms and commodities to optimize product availability and cost. We’re experts at resolving problems with inventory, production schedules or material shortages and recommending procedures to avoid future problems.

As a Material Planning Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring continuity of supply to enable customer demand is always met, maintaining strong and effective supply chains.
•Maintain Continuity of Supply for assigned products to maintain standard lead times, managing supply imbalances, correcting as quickly and cost effectively as possible
•Coordinate with product launch teams to ensure material availability
•Forecast and track inventory, monitoring cycle counts and physical inventories
•Use judgment within defined practices and procedures to resolve supply chain and material problems
•Understand product demand requirements for assigned products to ensure appropriate level of supply, aligning forecast assumptions with segment forecasters and translating customer and financial requirements to actionable forecasts for operations and procurement•2 to 5 years relevant experience
•Strong understanding of materials planning, forecasting and inventory
•Experience in developing and maintaining a strong supply chain
•Ability to work independently and successfully influence senior decision makers
•Aptitude for resolving supply chain and material problems
•Bachelors’ degree
•Additional language skills
