Job Description / Responsibilities:
Candidates should bring a good understanding of computer vision and sensor fusion algorithms and technologies that are necessary building blocks of interactive, real-time, and immersive systems, including SLAM, Inertial navigation, and 3D pose tracking. They should also have experience in systems design and implementations for real-time embedded and mobile platforms.
Be part of a world-class XR team researching, developing and validating AR/VR/XR technology
Validate power-efficient computer vision and navigation algorithms for AR/VR/XR products
Support product teams for commercialization, through system validation, performance profiling and benchmarking.
Enhance existing infrastructure for validation of perception algorithms
Required qualifications:
Good understanding of Visual Inertial odometry and SLAM systems, Computer Vision, etc.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Strong knowledge of Python and data handling libraries (NumPy, pandas, etc.)
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in AR/VR/XR perception and/or automotive perception is desired
Exposure to rendering and related artifacts
Exposure to robotic arms, motion capture cameras, etc.
Educational requirements:
Required: Bachelor’s in Computer science or Electrical & Computer Engineering
Preferred: Master’s in Computer science or Electrical & Computer Engineering
Minimum Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 10+ years of Systems Validation or related work experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Systems Validation or related work experience.
Virtual reality, Augmented reality, machine vision, computer vision, IMU, sensor fusion, inertial navigation, 3D reconstruction
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
