As the Business Management Associate on the Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries team, you will be a key partner to the business management team and senior leaders in the Government, Healthcare, Higher Ed., and Not for-Profit organization. You will bring a strong understanding of sales and financial operations and an ability to drive strategic dialogue across the organization, inform decision-making, proactively solve problems, and provide analytical insight and business judgment in support of strategic and tactical initiatives.
Job responsibilities:
- Supports Business Management team and the Government, Healthcare, Higher Ed, and Not-for- Profit business on strategic initiatives and ad-hoc projects
- Leverages operational experience, data and analytical insights to define overall performance objectives and assist with the development and execution of business and financial plans
- Collaborates across finance and business management and other functional areas to understand and communicate results, execute strategic initiatives, and monitor outcomes
- Executes portfolio management, segmentation, planning and growth efforts using Customer Relationship Management and other sales enablement tools and processes
- Works closely with the financial planning and analytics function to assess business performance, define drivers of outcomes, document areas of opportunity, and execution plans to drive change
- Identifies areas for continued process improvement and efficiency by generating innovative ideas and solutions
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in strategy, financial planning, business management, or sales operations
- Strong business management and/or project management experienced
- Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work with a high degree of independence
- Strong project management skills, with demonstrated ability to execute strategic agenda
- Demonstrated acumen and comfort assessing financial performance and navigating large data sets to extract actionable insights
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information in differing degrees of detail and form depending on the audience
- BA / BS degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area
