HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Supporting and helping coordinate the end-to-end product design, development, launch and ongoing oversight for pooled vehicles across asset classes including mutual funds, ETFs, collective investment trusts, interval funds, etc.
  • Partnering with the Global Product Strategy team and stakeholders to help prioritize and execute on new product ideas that leverage the firm’s investment capabilities and best thinking, drive scale and address meaningful and measurable client demand.
  • Developing product proposals and strategic platform updates for senior management, boards, and internal governance committees.
  • Helping with technical project management of new product design and structuring, changes to existing funds as well as analysis and implementation of other product initiatives (working with investment teams, distribution, legal, tax, compliance, fund services, finance, operations, etc.)
  • Facilitating ongoing product management initiatives to ensure product suite remains competitive, is properly positioned to address commercial growth opportunities, and in compliance with latest regulations.
  • Keeping abreast of major developments in the industry (i.e. regulations, tax, competition, etc.) that create new opportunities or challenges to our business.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree, 2-3 years of financial industry experience.
  • SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 licenses are required (and will be sponsored by the firm if not already completed).
  • Proficient comprehension of the US asset management industry, client channels, and vehicle mechanics and requirements (mutual funds, ETFs, collective investment trusts, etc.) through previous experience in product development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others across all levels and functions.
  • Proactive problem solver with a strong work ethic, strategic mindset, and commercial perspective.
  • Strong technical skills including high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with industry data through such sources as Morningstar Direct, Simfund, Cerulli, Broadridge, Brightscope, etc.

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $125000-$250000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
