Key Skills for Success:
- Demonstrates a passion for high volume assessment and selection methods for early talent programmes, continuous improvement, and best practice to deliver the best diverse quality candidates for student programmes at EY
- Delivers exceptional EY assessment centres, from design to operational delivery. You will look after this cross team project as an SME and ensure that these high-volume, high-profile events are executed to a high standard ensuring an exceptional candidate experience
- Demonstrates an understanding of strengths-based assessment methods used at EY
- Shows energy and enthusiasm for keeping up to date with technology and assessment options available in the market
- Demonstrates exceptional reporting and data analysis capabilities including adverse impact and pass rate analysis
- Demonstrates an understanding of diversity and inclusion in student recruitment, and assessment and selection practices that reduce bias and adverse impact in process
- Demonstrates project management capabilities and an ability to prioritise effectively
- Is able to foster strong working partnerships with internal and external teams & suppliers
- Demonstrates high competence in event planning and delivery both in-person and virtually
- Is able to manage stakeholders and candidate expectations through the recruitment process, advising on and applying best practice at all times
- Is comfortable engaging directly with candidates at various stages in the recruitment process to support specialist queries or directly contribute to a best-in-class candidate experience
- Contributes to the achievement of Student Recruitment hiring targets across all programmes
Partnering with the Business:
- Gains knowledge with regard to business strategy and performance and demonstrates some understanding of the key business drivers
- Is responsive to business needs, demonstrating speed of response through own actions and proactively proposing ideas and solutions
- Builds a strong internal network for example with Talent Shared Services, by working with them to manage events and to provide exceptional service and insight to business
To qualify for the role you must have:
- Knowledge of core assessment and selection tools
- A passion for student recruitment
- Highly organised with an eye for detail
- Confident excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs etc)
- Relationship building skills – with the ability to challenge senior management where necessary, always acting with integrity and enthusiasm
- A willingness to look beyond the task at hand and consider the broader picture
- Calm and objective when under pressure
- Ability to spend up to 50% of your time seasonally travelling/ on campuses
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- A Masters in Occupational Psychology/Business Psychology
- Confident conducting statistical analysis
- Consulting experience
- Project management experience
- Experience in event management and delivery
