Software Engineer III, DevOps

Drive technical implementations for software development at the application and product level for small to mid-sized software engineering projects. Propose improvements in the software design and implementation processes. Translate requirements into code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging while ensuring adherence to defined software engineering processes. Monitor and troubleshoot production systems. Identify and implement improvements to the DevOps process. Use tools to automate the build, testing, and deployment of software. Ensure changes are tested and deployed quickly and efficiently. Monitor application health status including memory, disk space, and CPU usage by using Kibana, Grafana, and Splunk. Stay up-to-date on the latest DevOps trends and technologies.

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or related field and 2 years of software development experience.

Experience coding in object-oriented programming language: Java. Experience analyzing and optimizing algorithms and data structures for efficient performance. Experience working with Agile Scrum development methodology and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Experience writing test cases. Experience identifying and fixing bugs. Experience identifying root causes of software defects and proposing solutions.
