The Marcom Photo Tech Engineer works within the MPO group and supports video production and photography projects.This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop tools, workflows, and solutions to meet dynamic production needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborate across teams, offering insights and technical guidance throughout productionProvide Digital Technician support on various photo shootsCreate tools to expedite processing of thousands of assets, identifying key features, and reduce human errorHave good judgment and follow security practices to protect our unreleased images
  • 7+ years in a technical production role, including experience as a digital tech
  • 7+ years of programming experience, including developing tools for production environments
  • Experience building tools around camera features, such as lens, shutter speed, or aperture Swift; ability to adapt tools and workflows quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of camera systems, lenses, lighting, and DSLR sensors
  • Extensive experience with Apple hardware/software, specifically within photography and video production
  • Skilled at troubleshooting Apple devices and camera issues on set
  • Proven experience in project management and delivering high-quality results under pressure
  • Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in dynamic production environments
  • Familiarity with Apple’s eXtreme Dynamic Range and other advanced imaging features
  • Experience working with producers, DPs, and creatives in a production setting
  • Apple Lead Genius experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Photography, Programming, or related field
