Team/Role Overview:
Capital optimization is a critical area for Citi and represents a significant challenge facing the financial services industry. As a firm, our ability to effectively lead in this area will be a significant determinant of our future competitiveness. It also helps satisfy a regulatory requirement for enhanced connection between strategic planning and capital planning.
What you’ll do:
- Partner with Product, Sales, Technology, and Management to identify needs, validate pain points, and codify user requirements to design the features and architecture for a brand new platform for managing Services' capital allocation decisions at a Client-level.
- This role will be responsible for all aspects of Services’ capital allocation platform design and development and the delivery and adoption of the solution.
- Lead ideation, technical development, and launch of models to administer a data-driven approach to allocate Service’ capital.
- Direct project prioritization, future state planning and strategic direction.
- Promote self-service platform use for every-day decision making, and democratize access to data and transparency of outcomes to teams.
What we’ll need from you:
- Relevant experience in Product Development, Application Development or as a Financial or Systems Analyst-type role.
- Analytical problem solver with the ability to design data-driven technology solutions to answer business problems.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to interact and drive usage across C-levels.
- Familiarity with client perspective as well as banking solutions and products.
- Awareness of bank capital regulation and bank liquidity regulation.
- Expertise in data analytics and working with data visualisation tools e.g. Tableau.
- Familiarity with Python, R, SAS, SPSS, and other statistical tools required to lead analytic projects and guide offshore teams.
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred.
