Job responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
• Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
• Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
• Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
• Works closely with Product Teams to understand the requirements
• Develops UAT test automation for Web platforms using Java, Selenium, Cucumber
• Incorporates API testing automation into Front-end automation framework
• Performs code reviews; research and POC on new tools
• Attends Agile ceremonies and conduct demo and trainings

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training, or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience in Test Framework design for Web automation
• Independently design, develop, test and deliver Test Automation Solutions supporting UAT and UAT testing using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency as Test Automation Engineer
• Proficiency and experience with Web frontend development (HTML5; JavaScript; CSS)
• Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
• In-depth knowledge of Gradle, Maven, Git, JIRA and Confluence
• Highly skilled proficiency of Performance Testing tool JMeter/LoadRunner
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Working experience of REST and SOAP web services, API Testing/Automation is preferable.
• Knowledge Spring Boot and Jenkins is a plus.
• Cloud platform knowledge is good to have
• Perform version controlling responsibilities using Maven, Git and Bitbucket.
• Collaborative and able to build strong relationships across the organization

• Possess strong organization and time management capabilities
