Job responsibilities

  • Supports key strategic change programs for the Merchant Services business; helps drive specific projects, workstreams and/or deliverables to deliver improved business revenue growth and profitability, as well as enhance the client experience
  • Helps analyze end-to-end processes and identify opportunities and solutions to streamline, improve and automate them to increase efficiency and scalability; helps develop and drive delivery of recommendations
  • Supports execution of the cross-function reporting strategy, and develops insights on the Merchant Services business, sales and clients through data analysis
  • Supports delivery of regular progress updates to Sales, Product, and other senior management stakeholders across Payments and Global Banking; helps track OKRs and metrics to demonstrate progress
  • Helps deliver communications and training around strategic changes
  • Collaborates with the Product Delivery Manager to execute on key delivery tasks and identify ways to boost efficiencies
  • Supports the completion of change management activities across functional partners and monitors adherence to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Raises blockers and other impediments to the Product Delivery Manager to manage dependencies and ensure adequate resources
  • Develops understanding of client personas in target segments and their needs

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in project management or a relevant domain area (e.g., change management, product development, strategy, management consulting, business management)
  • Experience in merchant services or payments
  • Demonstrated performance in either project management or relevant domain area
  • Experience executing operational management and change readiness activities
  • Experience in reporting and data analysis
  • Understanding of delivery and experience implementing continuous improvement processes
  • Ability to interact with colleagues at various levels and across functions; proven ability to cultivate strong relationships
  • Strategic thinker who is comfortable translating abstract ideas into a concrete plan of action
  • Change agent who makes a strong case for change through facts, compelling communication style and deep understanding of the audience
  • Strong Powerpoint and Excel skills are mandatory

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Developed knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Knowledge of merchant services revenue streams and drivers of profitability
  • Knowledge of automation tools
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
