The IT Business Unit Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships across the various global PMOs and other enterprise level governing bodies to improve path to green and support escalation of high-risk initiatives.
• Communicate at risk or emerging themes related to the PMO to executive leadership.
• Facilitate large scale meetings with resources across the globe
• Interact with Internal Audit to provide evidence of compliance to PMO and oversight standards and procedures.
• Produce highly detailed evidence of oversight activities conducted on the job.
• Analyze scorecards/project management data to independently assess risks, determine root cause, and drive actions to address the root causes that persistently lead to governance related issues.
• Identify and lead process improvement, AI, machine learning, and automation opportunities tied to any new/existing processes.
• Formally document new and existing processes to ensure the activities organization is doing is in alignment with its enterprise expectations.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
5 - 8 years of relevant global experience including project management, business analysis, process improvement, and/or project management governance.
• Strong emotional intelligence and executive presence to adopt messaging based on audience needs
• Experience in leading process improvement initiatives
• Strong organization skills, presentation skills, time management, collaboration, facilitation, negotiation skills and ability to influence.
• Strong attention to detail, and ability to maintain highly detailed records of meetings, reviews, actions, and agreements.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; data driven and results-oriented.
Demonstrated ability to operate with independence and ability to manage concurrent deliverables and prioritization.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and comfortable communicating to all levels of the organization. Ability to develop a clear and concise message. Advanced PowerPoint experience.
