This is a field position that has the following physical demands over a 10-hour period daily when working onsite.
- Requires physical exertion in various conditions of climate and hilly and hard asphalt/concrete terrain.
- Requires long periods of standing, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities.
- Requires recurring lifting of moderately heavy items (~50 lbs.) such as surveying equipment and related surveying field items.
- Requires general physical and mental characteristics and abilities leading to above-average agility and dexterity, adaptability, to different field conditions, knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
Here's what you'll need
- In pursuit of a Bachelor's of Science degree with an emphasis on surveying from an accredited program
- Must beat least a rising Junior
- Experience working Microsoft Office Software
- Willing to travel and work in the field as needed
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- 3.0 GPA
- A previous internship related to your field of study
- Experience using Trimble equipment
