The Channel Sales Partner Leader will be responsible for building and managing relationships with channel partners to drive sales and distribution of BMC Software's products and services. This role requires You will support, grow, and develop team members with whom you manage across the US and Canada.
Partner Recruitment:Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners to expand BMC Software's market reach and drive sales growth.
Sales Management:Develop and execute sales strategies with partners to achieve revenue targets. Provide partners with the necessary training, resources, and support to effectively sell BMC Software's solutions.
Pipeline and Forecast Management:Oversee and manage the sales pipeline and forecasts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Drive sales processes and initiatives to achieve business goals.
Distribution Management:Oversee the distribution of products and services through the partner network, ensuring efficient and effective delivery.
Relationship Building:Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with channel partners. Leverage these relationships to manage and grow their business.
Strategic Planning:Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement channel strategies that align with overall business goals.
Performance Monitoring:Track and analyze partner performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior leadership. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
People Management:Lead and mentor a team of partner managers across the US and Canada, ensuring they have the skills and support needed to succeed. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
Market Intelligence:Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities to provide strategic guidance to partners and internal stakeholders.

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

• Experience in sales, partner recruitment, distribution management, and working within both startup and enterprise environments
• Excellent people management skills and a proven track record of working collaboratively to achieve business objectives.
• 7+ years of experience in sales, distribution management, and partner management, with a strong background in both startup and large enterprise environments.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth through partner channels.
• Strong experience in managing sales pipelines and forecasts, ensuring accurate and effective sales processes.
• Demonstrated success in identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new channel partners.
• Extensive experience in managing the distribution of products and services through a partner network.
• Experience in managing and leading a team, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills, specifically managing partner managers across the US and Canada.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is preferred.
