The Investments Operations Specialist is a critical role in a small but dedicated team within the Wealth Operations in Zurich. Given the nature of the role, the demanding client segment and expanding regulatory requirements, we are looking for applicants who have considerable experience in the Operations processing of Securities transactions, Proxy Voting and Investor disclosure as well as Client complaint management.
The function predominantly handles the responses to investor disclosure requests, the on-boarding of clients on to Citi’s Proxy Voting Platform and the general handling of Proxy Voting together with Client complaint management duties. As secondary responsibilities, the function supports Custody Account Administration as well as the handling of Securities Free of Payments. Given the diversity of the role, the applicant should enjoy working against multiple daily deadlines, must be interested in managing multiple functions, have be ability to work under pressure and to deal with concurrent activities.
primary responsibilitiesare:
Responding to investor disclosure request.
On-boarding of clients to Proxy Voting Platform.
Supporting Proxy Voting Process.
Client complaint management.
Compile and issue periodic management information.
Support Change Management initiatives and continuous improvements activities.
Records Management
Perform periodic control testing.
secondary responsibilitiesare:
Securities Free of Payment order processing.
Custody Account Administration.
Support bankers with any client related inquiries.
Other Investments Operations related activities.
Qualifications:
2 to 5 years of experience in Operations in a financial institution.
Familiarised with EU and non-EU investor disclosure requirements e.g. EU SRD II.
Familiar with Securities Clearing process.
General understanding of Investments Products.
Able to work diligently under time pressure on concurrent activities.
Ability to take on new assignments.
Excellent English verbal and writing. German language skills would be a plus.
Bank-apprenticeship or similar.
Preferably bachelor’s degree.
Degree in English.
Degree in German.
Certificate in appliance of Microsoft office software.
