In you day-to-day as a Staff Software Engineer iOS, you will:

  • Lead iOS Development:Oversee the architecture and development of advanced iOS applications, ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness.

  • Technical Leadership:Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and contribute to best practices in software development.

  • Collaboration:Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and solutions.

  • Code Review and Quality Assurance:Conduct code reviews tomaintaincode quality, performance, and security. Implement andmaintainautomated testing frameworks.

  • Continuous Improvement:Stayup-to-datewith the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in iOS development. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

  • Performance Optimization:Identifyand resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs to ensureoptimalapplication performance.

  • Documentation:Create andmaintaincomprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and technical processes.

  • Project Management:Assistin planning, estimation, and execution of projects, ensuringtimelydelivery of high-quality products.

  • Innovation:Identifyand advocate fornew technologiesand methodologies to improve development processes and product offerings.

What do you need to bring as a Staff Software Engineer iOS:

  • Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience:7+ years of professional experience in iOS development, with a strong portfolio of released applications on the App Store.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficiencyin Swift and Objective-C.

  • Strong understanding of iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, and Core Text.

  • Experience with third-party libraries, APIs, and RESTful web services.

  • Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.

  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.

  • Experience with performance and memory tuning tools.

  • Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
