In you day-to-day as a Staff Software Engineer iOS, you will:
Lead iOS Development:Oversee the architecture and development of advanced iOS applications, ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness.
Technical Leadership:Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and contribute to best practices in software development.
Collaboration:Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
Code Review and Quality Assurance:Conduct code reviews tomaintaincode quality, performance, and security. Implement andmaintainautomated testing frameworks.
Continuous Improvement:Stayup-to-datewith the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in iOS development. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
Performance Optimization:Identifyand resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs to ensureoptimalapplication performance.
Documentation:Create andmaintaincomprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and technical processes.
Project Management:Assistin planning, estimation, and execution of projects, ensuringtimelydelivery of high-quality products.
Innovation:Identifyand advocate fornew technologiesand methodologies to improve development processes and product offerings.
What do you need to bring as a Staff Software Engineer iOS:
Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:7+ years of professional experience in iOS development, with a strong portfolio of released applications on the App Store.
Technical Skills:
Proficiencyin Swift and Objective-C.
Strong understanding of iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, and Core Text.
Experience with third-party libraries, APIs, and RESTful web services.
Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
Experience with performance and memory tuning tools.
Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
