Apply your analytic skills and learn new techniques to explore large complex datasets. You will work with a small highly collaborative team of software and algorithm engineers and learn how to prepare data, extract features, apply statistical techniques, and develop predictive models using custom algorithms and popular machine learning libraries.
Basic Requirements:
- Good understanding of statistics, data structures, and algorithms
- Proficient coding in Python/R with experience developing data analytic scripts in one or both
- Basic understanding of data analytics and machine learning
- Good softwaredesign/implementationcapabilities
- Effective communication and team interaction skills
- Creative problem-solver who is motivated to learn independently
Having some of following types of experience is useful:
- Statistical analysis, pattern recognition, and or prediction modeling
- Designing and implementing User Interfaces (desktop or web)
- Encryption and security concepts and practices
- Building, maintaining, or repairing scientific instruments or other mechanical, electrical, and/or optical systems
Minimum Qualifications
Planned college graduation by Dec 2025 or later, with primary coursework in computer science, analytics, machine learning, data science, engineering (mechanical, electrical, systems), or physics.
