What you will accomplish:

• Develop high-performing solutions that align with eBay's business and technology strategies to enhance risk management, trust, and compliance..

• Research, analyze, design, develop and test the solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies.

• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and project-related team meetings, impacting significantly to the development process.

• Collaborate optimally within a multi-functional team members, including engineers, architects, product managers, and operations, to deliver innovative solutions to address business needs, performance, scale, and reliability.

• Acquire domain expertise and apply this knowledge to tackle product challenges, ensuring continuous improvement in the domain.

• Act as an onboarding buddy for new joiners, fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.

What you will bring:

• At least 5 years of software design and development experience with proven foundation in computer science with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.

• Hands on expertise with architectural and design patterns, open source platforms & frameworks, technologies and software engineering methodologies.

• Hands-on experience in developing applications with Java, JEE, Spring/Spring Boot, Rest, GraphQl, Spring Batch, Nodejs

• Hands-on experience with building data models in Oracle/MySql/RDBMS and NoSql databases e.g key value store, document store like Mongo, Couchbase, Cassandra.

• Hands-on Experience in building tools and User experience using Html5, Javascript, ReactJs or Arco design, Material design,

• Proficiency in data & streaming technologies including Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Flink etc.

• Experience in using source control systems such as Git, issue tracking systems like JIRA.

• Practiced with agile development and ability to adapt changes with business priorities.

• Experience with building sophisticated integration solutions for internet scale traffic is a major plus.

• Risk domain, rule engine expertise is a major plus.

• Excellent with decision-making, communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience with Observability, Dev ops is highly desired.

• Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI tools is a major plus.
