Responsibilities:

Responsible for the receiving, uploading, and tracking of monthly 3rd party bank statements, insurance, alternative investments and property management statements to the system platform.

• Responsible for the update of the 3rd Party Statements Tracking Dashboard and review of bank statements for Transaction Trend Monitoring (TTM) in conformity to anti-money laundering procedures.

• Preparation of Monthly Missing Statements Metric Reports

• Address accounting queries related to the 3rd Party Statement Tracking Dashboard

• Prepare & track Manually Prepared Reports (i.e. Distribution and Income Analysis Schedules) for client structures in a timely manner. Escalate issues that could potentially become a risk to the business and franchise.

• Issue Ad hoc Workflows and draft emails related to statement discrepancies

• Liaise with the trust officers and/or other team members to ensure any issues or queries related to 3rd party statements are addressed in a timely manner.

​• Prepare and or review client financial statements for simple structures as assigned by the Department Manager.

​• Post journal entries for financial statement amendments; adjust financial statements packages including re-run updated financial statement supporting documents; provide account status updates for audit request as recommended by Senior Reviewers.

​• Adhere to all business polices as it relates to compliance and business risk.

• Assist the department in other day to day functions necessary to meet departmental goals

• 1- 3 years experience in Client Accounting desirable

• Basic understanding and working knowledge of book-keeping, accounting concepts, procedures, and their applications

• Attention to detail and strong aptitude for numbers

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.

• Excellent communication skills, verbal, and written English.

• Excellent analytical skills.

• Thorough understanding of Operational flows and related risks.

• Problem solving skills required.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Must be able to work effectively and efficiently and possess the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain tight deadlines with little to no supervision

Qualifications:

• University Degree in Accounting
