In this role you will leverage both your engineering and machine learning background to help develop generative AI for shopping. On a day-to-day basis, you will:
- Design and implementation of a stable and efficient training infrastructure for pre-training, fine tuning and RLHF that scale to a large model size and hardware such as GPU resources.- Quickly learn cutting-edge technologies and algorithms in the field of Generative AI.
- Support training on other platforms, such as AWS Trainium.
- Improve the training efficiency from different layer, such as framework and GPU optimization

- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Experience in developing machine learning pipelines, developing large language model or natural language understanding models.
- Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or AI

- Any experience with the following will be a big plus:
- -Experience with CUDA
- -Experience with Pytorch or Tensorflow
- -Experience with distributed training
