Purpose & Overall Relevance to the Organization:

This temporary role is dedicated to providing support to the entire team and department on cross-functional and transformational initiatives, with a particular emphasis on testing, implementing, and scaling of new ERP (SAP) solution. The primary objective is to assist the department in achieving its mandate to optimize sales, profitability, and sell-through by overseeing:

  • Holistic and compliant pricing planning and execution across all product categories, ensuring alignment with brand strategy while achieving financial goals (net sales, margins, markdown, and inventory targets).
  • Product lifecycle management , with an emphasis on planning and executing major commercial campaigns (e.g. end-of-season sales, Black Friday).
  • Inventory planning & readiness , so to ensure that from an ERP (SAP) point-of-view, the organization has full transparency on inventory and physical inventory is properly mapped and categorized and therefore correctly visible and orderable from final consumer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for the TRANS4M project team, overseeing the transition to the new ERP (SAP) solution.
  • Collaborate with the TRANS4M project team and other ERP (SAP) teams to optimize the ramp-up of the new solution, including reporting and system capabilities.
  • Ensure clear communication and collaboration with key teams (e.g., Distribution Center, Suppliers, Global Product Owner, Brand, Finance, Demand Planning) to support Pricing & Merchandising Operations processes.
  • Assist in designing and implementing process changes in Pricing & Merchandising Operations due to the ERP (SAP) transition, ensuring continuity of business operations.
  • Support team milestones and deliverables related to the ERP (SAP) implementation.
  • Contribute to the successful implementation of the TRANS4RM project, with a focus on Pricing & Merchandising Operations for eCommerce.
  • Maintain up-to-date process documentation reflecting the impact of the new ERP (SAP) solution.
  • Provide ongoing analysis and reporting on range status, product cycles, inventory, and personalization business.
  • Ensure transparency across supply, open-to-buy, order status, distribution center deliveries, and stock transfers, with a focus on ERP-related changes.
  • Ensure accuracy of master data in seasonal range files and systems, aligning with digital systems and ERP (SAP) updates.
  • Assist in regular activities such as omnichannel stock movements, stock transfers, availability checks for eCommerce, and campaign/fast-seller tracking.
  • Support compliance efforts for pricing master data, considering impacts from the transformational project.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Passionate about products with expertise in merchandising and retail processes/operations, along with a broad understanding of other relevant functions in buying, planning, trading.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to dive into large datasets using various tools and build key relationships to achieve results.
  • Collaborative team player, capable of working effectively within diverse teams and departments.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex information clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment requiring interaction with and support for different departments.
  • Strong understanding of key digital KPIs (e.g., Traffic, AOV, PDP views, CVR) but also financial performance metrics (demand, net sales, margin, logistic costs)
  • Experience in editing, submitting, retrieving data from SAP or other ERP solutions.

Requisite Education and Experience/Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in merchandising/buying/planning with exposure to operational topics concerning eCom or Retail business.
  • Experience in the FMCG, fashion or sporting goods industry is an advantage.
  • General understanding of eCom Operations.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Advanced user of Excel, Po and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP or familiarity with other ERPs.
  • Experience with Product Information Systems for eCom or Retail is of advantage.
  • Highly motivated and flexible, able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
