*Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the Red Hat, Inc. office in Raleigh, NC.

What You Will Do:

• Consult and work with image owners to add new features to OpenShift and resolve any technical build issues and report them to Product managers.

• Provide guidance to all the dev teams on how to onboard their components on OpenShift.

• Analyze any fixes available for the build system and perform updates and install of plugins every few days.

• Work with developers to see what the requirements are to run build for new version of OpenShift, and work with team leads and architects to design them.

• Monitor builds to make sure OpenShift is building fine, report and fix any issues noticed.

• Work with IT to store build logs in Splunk and analyze them to improve the builds.

• Work with QE and other teams to train them on the build status and help them to finish testing.

• Lead and coordinate with Product security teams to make sure our build pipeline is in conformance with Red Hat Security Compliance Standards.

• Lead efforts for migrate pipeline from Jenkins to Tekton.

• Take ownership of OpenShift release work in NA time zone and provide support.

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related role.

• Must have two (2) years of experience with Python with Object Oriented Programming;

• Must have two (2) years of experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Development;

• Must have two (2) years of experience with Linux based Operating Systems;

• Must have two (2) years of experience with Jenkins;

• Must have two (2) years of experience with Kubernetes;

• Must have two (2) years of experience with Version Control using Git and GitHub;

• Must have two (2) years of experience with Shell/Bash scripting;

• Must have two (2) years of experience with relational databases.

The salary range for this position is $114,480 - $155,660. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
