A support engineer plays an essential role in the technology industry. As a support engineer, your job is to be the first line of defense when any technical issue arises. Your primary responsibility is to troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise by providing support to customers and personnel.
With Expoint, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in problem-solving in order to quickly identify and resolve potential issues. This will involve being able to analyze the source of these issues, whether faulty equipment, missing information or misconfigured devices, to determine the best solution. Additionally, you will need to ensure that customer satisfaction standards are consistently met.
Your position will also encompass providing advice, guidance, and customer service in order to help you meet customer expectations. You’ll need to maintain customer records and ensure customer satisfaction as well as ensure the highest level of data security.
The ability to communicate effectively and with empathy is also an important aspect of the role. It is your job to ensure customer inquiries are understood and resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible. On top of providing technical help and advice, you'll need to be able to provide customer service that reassures customers in order to protect the brand’s ongoing success.
