They also provide feedback to developers and suggest improvements to the software development process. Software QA engineers need to be able to work with the engineering team to identify and prioritize testing, establishing the best test scenarios for various product features and assessing their feasibility before starting the testing. Additionally, knowledge and understanding of testing processes, such as unit testing, coding, debugging and regression are essential.
