Server Administrator jobs

As a server administrator, your role is to keep and maintain corporate networks and IT systems running smoothly. You would need to monitor company infrastructure and conduct regular system maintenance checks. This includes ensuring the security of the network, troubleshooting problems such as networking issues and software malfunctions, diagnosing and resolving hardware or software related issues, patching security issues and general upgrades. You would need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment. Excellent diagnostic, technical and problem solving skills are a must, as is the ability to think critically. An ideal candidate must possess the capacity to work independently and efficiently, as well as work well with a team. Key responsibilities for the role include installing, configuring, and optimizing systems, resources and various software, monitoring network performance and security, and resolving technical issues. You would also need to ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain a secure and up-to-date system.
