Are you a talented electrical engineer looking for an opportunity to make a difference? At Expoint, we’re looking for a principal electrical engineer to join our team and lead the way in developing innovative engineering solutions.
You will serve as the technical specialist when it comes to complex electrical projects and will be responsible for managing the development and deployment of these products. As the principal electrical engineer, you will be accountable for the timely completion of tasks, resolving technical issues, and proactively seeking out industry trends and new technologies.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing schematics and PCB layouts, coding, debugging and troubleshooting, research and analysis, design optimization, and resolving related compliance releases as needed. You should have great communication and organizational skills, with the ability to take direction and stay on top of deadlines.
You should also have a degree in electrical engineering or related field, a minimum of 5-7 years of experience, and a proven track record of effectively and efficiently completing tasks. Proficiency with software tools such as MATLAB, Spice, E-Sim, CAD, or PCB design is required, as well as a strong knowledge of design best practices and industry regulations.
