What You’ll Do

• Work Planning : Prepare work plans, scopes of work for subcontractors, and other tasks necessary to mobilize for field work supported by project managers and subject matter experts.
• Execute Field Work : Participate and lead field activities including sediment characterization and remediation activities.
• Data Analysis and Reporting : Analyze data, prepare technical reports, and participate in the design and implementation of pilot studies and remedial systems.
• Team Interaction : Engage with fellow scientists, engineers, project managers, clients, and others to understand the full project lifecycle and regulatory drivers.
• Mentorship and Growth : Receive mentoring from project teams to help you grow your career at Jacobs.

Based out of the Central United States, you’ll work with other scientists, engineers, subject matter experts, and project managers on exciting projects in which you will learn from others and pass along your knowledge. Responsibilities may include designing, performing, or overseeing soil, soil vapor, groundwater, and surface water investigations, building teams of colleagues and subcontractors, coordinating and managing fieldwork logistics, data analysis and interpretation, technical report writing, and participating in meetings with clients and regulators. Based out of Conshohocken, PA, you’ll work with other geologists, engineers, subject matter experts, and project managers on exciting projects in which you will learn from others and pass along your knowledge. Estimated time spent doingfield work

This is a hybrid position where you’ll be afforded the flexibility to work from both the office as well as from home as best suited to meet project delivery goals while maintaining balance.

We’re looking for an emerging Scientist, Geologist, Engineer or Planner to provide technical support on projects using your understanding of permitting, chemistry, water and soil sampling, and laboratory analytical methods.

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area/Northern California, you'll learn the water permitting requirements of City and California State Water Board agencies as well as project specific processes, communication pathways, and a complex program structure. During your time with us, you will manage up to 50 permitting projects per year, including being involved in planning, construction, and permit closeout phases. You’ll prepare permit applications, sampling plans, discharge summaries, soil and water management plans, and permit closeout documents. You’ll be juggling multiple tasks, so we’ll rely on you to prioritize effectively, keeping the big picture in mind.

Based out of the Eastern United States, you’ll work with other scientists, engineers, subject matter experts, and project managers on exciting projects in which you will learn from others and pass along your knowledge.
