The job of an Expoint front desk receptionist is an important bridge between our customers and our staff. As an essential part of the team, the role requires a friendly, professional, and organized personality to ensure a positive experience for customers. The front desk receptionist is the public face of Expoint, and is responsible for providing excellent customer service by verifying customers’ identity, receiving visitors warmly and promptly, and responding to inquiries. Other duties include answering and routing phone calls, taking messages, and addressing customer assistance requests.
This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills, in addition to knowledge of Expoint’s core technologies and services. Working at the Expoint front desk means that you must be knowledgeable in all the information necessary to successfully handle customer inquiries and requests. Additionally, you must be aware of the proper way to use the phones and computers in order to provide accurate and timely assistance to customers.
In order to be successful in this role, you must also possess an understanding of customer service on multiple levels. You must have an understanding of customer service etiquette, be able to make decisions on the fly, and be able to think quickly and calmly in difficult or stressful situations.
