As a Forester within Campbell Global, you will be responsible for planning and supervising all aspects of forest management activities to ensure forest management goals and objectives are achieved in a manner consistent with environmental standards. As a Forest Supervisor within Campbell Global, you will be responsible for managing and supervising silviculture and timber harvesting activities in accordance with Campbell Global’ s budgetary, regulatory, and environmental guidelines. As a Forest Area Manager you will provide professional and personal leadership to tree farm personnel.

Job responsibilities

  • Contract with third parties to perform harvesting, silviculture, and road construction and maintenance-related services (prospectus preparation, identification of qualified/licensed contractors or consultants, bid analysis, negotiations, contract execution and compliance monitoring)
  • Implement policies, procedures, and guidelines regarding all forest management activities to ensure the highest quality while managing cost effectiveness
  • Maintain full and appropriate compliance with applicable Federal, State and Local regulations, Licensing Standards, Forest Practice laws, SFI Standards, and FSC Standards with the ability to obtain chemical application license within 6 months
  • Implement policies, procedures, and guidelines regarding all forest management activities to ensure the highest quality while managing cost effectiveness utilizing GIS system to provide information needed to update maps regarding stand treatments, boundaries, inventory depletions, stream locations and stream classification
  • Monitor expenditure and operation levels closely in order to comply with budget limitations, and participate in quarterly and annual budgeting processes and “Forward Look” process, as needed.
  • Represent Campbell Global at all levels, maintaining good communication and excellent professional working relationships with outside companies, contractors and agencies as well as internal team members
  • Participate within the organization to ensure all timberland management investment services meet or exceed client commitments while ensuring that environmental or financial risk management reporting is conducted in a timely and professional manner to your Forest Supervisor and, if appropriate, local Safety Coordinator

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • A bachelor’s degree in forestry, Forest Management, Forest Engineering or Forest Operations Management with a minimum of 2 years’ work experience in forest management or equivalent training and experience
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with ability to manage multiple projects from initiation to final completion in a timely and efficient manner
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, oral communication and written communication skills in addition to good and up to date computer skills, especially in MS Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to work alone in the outdoors over extremely rough, brushy, and uneven terrain in all weather conditions required, and ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs

Job responsibilities

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
  • Five years of proven mortgage sales experience including strong product, credit, and mortgage process knowledge and an understanding of Federal Housing Administration (FHA), Veterans Administration (VA), Federal National Mortgage Association (FNMA), and Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (FHLMC) guidelines Unique Requirements, and low-down payment products. (Regional Management approval for internal Home Lending Advisors who have been in their position for less than one year.)
  • Knowledge of real estate market in local area and the ability to build new external referral sources and networks (e.g., realtors, nonprofits, community groups, civic/professional organizations required)
  • Track record of customer satisfaction as demonstrated in customer satisfaction scores and customer comments
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills for preparing and presenting in your community outreach when providing homeowner education and demonstrating knowledge while working with community-based nonprofits, community groups, consumer advocacy groups, and civic/professional groups.
  • Intermediate Personal Computer skills in a Windows environment

Job Responsibilities

  • Draft, manage Non-Disclosure Agreements; manage information flow within the organization and with external buyers/sellers
  • Ensure accurate capture of trade details in the booking systems
  • Prepare LMA/LSTA trade documentation such as Trade Confirmation, Transfer Certificate and coordinate settlement efforts with relevant parties (buyer, seller, agent & internal settlement teams)
  • Monitor & manage Agency deal pipeline; liaise with Deal originators and lawyers (internal & external) in lead-up to signing of new syndicated loan facility

Required Qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years work experience with financial institution with at least 2 years of loan experience
  • Excellent communication and relationship/partnership-building skills both with team members as well as other business partners. Ability to interact confidently with all levels of stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail with a control and cost discipline mindset, takes ownership and is accountable for area of responsibility
  • Strong decision-making capabilities and the ability to identify problems and propose solutions

Job Summary

As a Forester within Campbell Global, you will be responsible for overseeing all forest management activities to meet client objectives related to financial returns, capital preservation, and environmental stewardship. You will also be involved in silvicultural, harvesting, engineering, and land use projects. The role will be based in Antlers, OK.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform contract supervision (i.e., contractor compliance) of contract logging, road construction and maintenance, surveying, silvicultural activities, surveying, timber inventory and other activities..
  • Plan, manage and inspect operations. This includes, but is not limited to, logging, road construction, road maintenance, and silvicultural operations.
  • Direct quality control concerning harvesting activities, including easements, felling, sorting procedures, haul logistics, and BMP compliance.
  • Ensure full and appropriate compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations, licensing standards, State Best Management Practices; Support and participate fully in local SFI & FSC certification programs.
  • Actively participate in the implementation and utilization of GIS.
  • Assist in bid analysis, prospectus preparation, negotiations with prospective contractors, and contract initiation, revisions and additions.
  • Participate in planning of silvicultural treatments across the tree farms. This would mainly entail planning, bidding, permitting, implementation and coordination of mechanical and chemical treatments.
  • Monitor expenditure and operation levels closely in order to comply with budget limitations, and participate in the annual budgeting process and “Forward Look” process, as needed.
  • Maintain good communication and excellent working relationships with outside agencies and companies(Oklahoma Department of Agriculture and Forestry, Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation, other State and County Departments).
  • Stay abreast of industry technology, trends, new regulations and laws; attend meetings, as necessary.
  • Ensure that environmental or financial risk management reporting is conducted in a timely and professional manner to the Area Manager and, if appropriate, local Safety Coordinator.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry, Forest Management, or Forest Engineering plus a minimum of two years’ work experience in forestland management or the logging industry, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with ability to manage multiple projects from initiation to final completion in a timely manner.
  • Working knowledge of forest management, logging industry, sorting techniques, log values, silviculture techniques, etc.
  • Requires valid Driver’s License with good driving record
