Your primary tasks will include managing the financial accounting, record-keeping and reporting systems. You will oversee the budgeting and financial analysis processes, while also making decisions based on that data. You’re also a people-manager, leading and developing an accounting/finance team by recruiting, assessing, motivating and coaching personnel. To be successful in this role, you’ll need a relevant accounting diploma, a master’s in finance and knowledge of general accounting principles like GAAP, SOX and IFRS.
