The field engineer role is one of the most critical jobs in the tech industry. As a field engineer, you will be the bridge between customer needs and in-house troubleshooting. You need excellent problem-solving and communication skills as you will be the one working with customers closely, helping them to identify, assess and troubleshoot issues they are having with their technology.
Your responsibilities will also include working onsite with customers to advise on network and computer infrastructure configurations and operations. You will be required to understand customer’s demands and ensure the deliverables are met in a timely manner.
