A career as an ETL Developer on ExPoint is a great choice for those passionate about systems engineering and data wrangling. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing Extract, Transform, & Load (ETL) processes to replicate, load, integrate, and transform data. You will be expected to stay up-to-date on cutting-edge technologies and continually refine how data is moved and managed. With a dynamic knowledge of relational databases, SQL statements and proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Java, MapReduce etc.) you will develop strategical plans to ensure data accuracy and build a resilient data Infrastructure.
The ideal candidates for ExPoint’s ETL Developer role should have an advanced understanding of both structured and unstructured data and be familiar with data models. You must have experience in dealing with varying types of data sources and running cleaning and transformation routines. Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools, data warehouses, and data marts is also essential for this position. Additionally, you must have the ability to manage competing projects and goals, possess excellent communication skills and organizational skills to provide solutions in accordance with deadlines.
