As an Accounting Supervisor on Expoint, you will provide guidance to accounting teams while developing and maintaining an effective control environment within the organization. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities and operations of the accounting department to ensure the accuracy and timely completion of all financial reporting activities.
You will be in charge of setting goals and tracking performance through monthly financial reviews and annual audits. You will be expected to find ways to improve existing accounting procedures, create effective internal controls, and explore opportunities for increasing efficiency. Additionally, you will be responsible for coaching and counseling staff and helping to identify skill-building opportunities, onboard new team members, and provide training in specialized areas.
This position requires both excellent communication and people management skills, as well as comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and current accounting regulations. You should also be detail-oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team. Ultimately, you will ensure the accuracy of all financial statements and reporting, while helping your team grow, develop, and improve.
