The laboratory manager role at Expoint is an exciting one where you will be responsible for the daily management of a laboratory. You'll be responsible for the reliable and accurate operation of all medical, physical, and chemical analysis equipment located in the lab. As a laboratory manager, your duties include ordering, managing, and monitoring lab supplies, evaluating processes and workflows, and overseeing the lab's personnel and operations.
Your main tasks are to ensure that all lab personnel are properly trained and adhere to safety and operational parameters, assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving as needed, and oversee expense and budget management. Additionally, you'll need to stay abreast of the latest technological advancements, maintain accurate records and reports, and manage regulatory requirements.
Our ideal candidate should possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in laboratory sciences, a strong knowledge of laboratory operations, and excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills. Previous experience in a laboratory environment, leadership abilities, and adaptability in a constantly changing work environment are all a plus.
