You will be responsible for leading ongoing system requirements management, regression testing, and business process changes, as well as projects related to Workday, Salesforce, ADP GlobalView, and other systems that impact payroll processing. This role will also be responsible for data analysis, driving process improvements, analyzing system configurations, and supporting our payroll, absence and time tracking production teams.

Basic Qualifications:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal HR Coordinator to join our dynamic Payroll team. In this role, you will perform a wide variety of payroll activities, working closely with Capital One Associates to answer their pay questions and resolve any issues with a key focus on associate experience. You will be responsible for updating key transactions into the HR or payroll processing system, processing retroactive payments, calculating final pay, posting and reconciling payroll, correcting errors, conducting audits, and preparing reports.
Responsibilities

The Payroll Tax Specialist delivers on critical payroll activities. These activities include, but are not limited to, accurate tax/garnishment setup in the Workday payroll system, state/local tax account maintenance (registrations, account numbers, rates, POAs, etc.), and overall compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
