1st shift (United States of America)Provide on-site service to large clients requiring technical support with their restaurant POS system. Serve as an additional source of knowledge to Point of Sale Systems Field Technician I staff. Serve a voice of the client to internal staff.
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Provide on-site hardware support 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week when on call.
2. Perform hardware and software upgrades as required to maintain operating systems for clients on a maintenance program.
3. Provide service within the contracted timeframe.
4. Provide second level technical support for POS Systems Support Analysts and Field Technical I staff.
5. Maintain replacement parts and service inventory.
6. Assist in the sales process by perform technical analysis of the client site and provide feedback for quote generation.
7. Provide feedback and suggestions to clients on latest product offers when providing onsite service.

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technology field, or equivalent education and related training or experience
2. 7+ years of experience in a hardware software field support role
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
4. Strong technical comprehension skills
5. Strong hardware diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
6. Certified Microsoft Windows Administrator
7. Strong networking comprehension skills
1. Undergraduate degree in a technology related field
2. 5 + years in supporting restaurant systems
