What You’ll Do:

  • Work on a high-performing team of motivated, passionate individuals who love what they do.
  • Receive, track, triage, research, and respond to client account inquiries via our online client portal, as well as over email and phone.
  • Provide timely, professional, and courteous customer service to our clients.
  • Coding and posting of demo invoices into our publishing system.
  • Provide user access and support for SCORE, our client website.
  • Assist department during royalty distributions.
  • General department assistance and additional projects as needed.

Who You Are:

  • A college student with a desire to learn more about Music Publishing.
  • An interest in the Administration side of the business.
  • A willingness to work with numbers and technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to correspond with creative clients and professionals via various methods, including phone calls.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a "customer service" position.
  • Desire to learn and master new software, technology and processes.
  • 7.5-hour business workday, but variations in work volume can require extended working hours based on business demands.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

  • Update records in SMP’s database with PA registration number and date.
  • Scan and upload Certificates of Registration into cloud-based document retention system.
  • Shadow team members to learn about different roles in Copyright Administration.
  • Assist team members with various tasks and projects.

Who You Are:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university.
  • Passionate about the music and entertainment business and have a desire to build a career in the industry.
  • An interest in Music Publishing Administration preferred.
  • Able to adapt quickly to a changing environment with minimal disruption.
  • Enthusiastic collaborator with good interpersonal skills and a professional and positive attitude.
