Job Summary

In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for all KRONOS-related inquiries. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive support and assistance across various administrative tasks to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The role involves closely collaborating with HR managers, supervisors, and the payroll department to maintain precise and timely payroll processing. Additionally, you will participate actively in audits and system upgrades to enhance the overall effectiveness of the operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist and support Kronos time and attendance system for sites.
  • Help remediate issues related to time and attendance, including identification and correction of inaccurate records.
  • Help troubleshoot Kronos issues with HR managers and supervisors.
  • Interface with Exton Payroll Department.
  • On a biweekly basis, assist in finalizing the Kronos data in preparation for payroll processing.
  • Interface with contingency employee agencies for time-related support.
  • Participate in audits to ensure legal and policy compliance.
  • Provide Kronos training to managers and employees.
  • Participate in testing of system upgrades and new software
  • Assist in preparation of vacation payout calculations for terminated hourly employees
  • Complete all Verification of Employment inquiries.
  • Assist in review of data entry of hourly and agency employees in HR system.
  • Serve as temporary backup other Kronos administrators.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining Job Aides..
  • Comply with government regulations and company policy
  • Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
  • High School or equivalent experience is required.
  • 0 to 3 years of either HRIS or payroll system experience.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Detail Oriented
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
  • Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with processing salaried and hourly biweekly payrolls with high accuracy. Reconcile to source documents and resolve payroll questions during open payroll.
  • Review employee change records for rate changes, terminations, new hires, location and company changes and other data points as required. Partner with HR and D & T to resolve discrepancies and root cause analysis.
  • Responsible for timely and professional resolution of employee payroll related queries.
  • Assist with supplemental payrolls for various compensation plans.
  • Acts as backup for payroll tax filings and payments.
  • Prepare employment verification forms. Assist with the payroll portion of child support verifications and subpoenas. Set up new garnishments, maintain employee records in UltiPro and Expert Pay, assist with payments and resolve employee and court issues. Respond to civil garnishment subpoenas.
  • Participate in internal audits as required and annual year end audit.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Create and test import and export files. Participate in testing of software releases and new vendor implementations.
  • Assist with W-2 preparation and W-2 reissue requests.
  • Attend training sessions to maintain knowledge on changing laws and policies.
  • Comply with government regulations and company policy.
  • Maintain strictest confidentiality.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree is required
  • Minimum 3 years in a finance or HR department and in processing complex payroll’s required
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Must have experience with computerized accounting systems and have a good knowledge of computer software MS office, Word, Excel
  • Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills
  • Experience in dealing with and managing employee queries in an efficient and professional manner
  • Sets high standards of performance for self and others and assumes responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments and tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels of the organization

  • Graduate of an accredited university with a Bachelors or Masters degree in: Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant degree

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for the execution of HR Payroll processes and transactions according to documented procedures within the HR Global Service Delivery Organization. The main function of this role operates as part of the overall Payroll team and supports all the facets of the daily operations of the entire payroll cycle. As a member of the organization, you will have the opportunity to interact daily with employees, managers, and the HR organization with inquiries through SAP ticketing system, as well as work on special ad-hoc projects.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsibility includes Payroll tax reconciliation, setting up new tax jurisdiction, researching tax discrepancies, running tax reports, Audits and payroll systems maintenance, payroll preparation and processing,
  • Responsible for the accuracy of flow of payroll postings to the general ledger.
  • Ensure the accuracy of approved field reported time via multiple systems/interfaces.
  • Support all facets of the daily operations of the entire payroll cycle.
  • Identify, analyze, and recommend solutions for systemic issues that relate to the payroll and the time & leave entry processes.
  • Test system changes, enhancements, and upgrades related to payroll. Design test procedures, define test scenarios, and perform tests to resolve problems or improve process controls.
  • Support special payroll projects and assignments as required.
  • Identify and resolve complex problems with logic and reasoning skills.
  • Communicate briefly, clearly, and effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Vendor Management (ADP Reporting and Exceptions)
  • Focus on high priority items when dealing with multiple issues
  • Remain focused on high priority items in stressful, demanding situations.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and request regarding payroll matters in a timely manner.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 to 5+ years of work experience in US Payroll. Knowledge in one or more of these areas: general HR, Benefits, Compensation, Staffing, Employee Relations, or DMC preferred.
  • 2 to 5+ years of work experience in US State Taxes
  • SAP IPP experience is preferred.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Human Resources required. Master’s Degree is a plus.
  • CPP certification is preferred.
  • Must exhibit professional maturity.
  • Customer Service, Focus and Orientation.
  • Proficiency with desktop software including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
