Responsibilities:

• Receive material into inventory and inspect for defects or irregularities using a variety of measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Inspect product for cosmetic flaws and/or damage prior to shipping.
• Maintain accurate records in Oracle and eDHR including notes, scrap, rejects, hold tags, and shipping documents.
• Communicate with production staff regarding quality issues found during inspection.
• Train new employees on procedures and processes related to receiving, inspection, and shipping.
• Participate in cross functional teams to address root causes identified through quality inspections.
• Work collaboratively with Production Management to implement solutions for quality concerns.
• Conduct periodic audits of inspection processes and provide feedback to supervisors.
• Coordinate activities between departments such as Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Shipping, and Maintenance.
• Review work orders and ensure proper documentation has been completed before releasing products.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required, Associates degree preferred.
• Minimum two years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, detail oriented, self motivated, and able to multi-task effectively.
• Experience with Oracle or eDHR software is desirable.

• Develop and maintain standardized training plans for production roles.

• Design and lead onboarding and upskilling programs for operators and technicians.

• Build and manage a hands-on training center using scrap materials for safe, repeatable practice.

• Capture and edit video content of SME job performance to create digital learning modules.

• Collaborate with operations, quality, and EHS teams to align training with site standards and expectations.

• Track training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics and develop appropriate solutions.

• Support compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety training requirements.

• Continuously improve training tools, formats, delivery methods and, stay up to date with industry trends and best practices related to training and development in manufacturing settings.

• High School/GED

• Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing or training role (production, quality, or learning & development).

• Experience designing or delivering structured training programs.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and implement creative solutions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.

• Strong communication and facilitation skills. With the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff.

• Comfortable working on the production floor and engaging with hourly associates.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Associates degree or higher.

• Familiarity with video creation tools and learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.

• Lean or Six Sigma knowledge is a bonus

• Strong passion, determination, and tenacity to drive results and improve site performance.

• Intellectually curious and creative problem-solver with the ability to think strategically.

• Perform daily operations including scheduling Work Orders, inventory management, and quality records.
• Implement lean manufacturing techniques to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to production delays or quality concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, and inventory levels,
• Provide feedback to upper management regarding progress towards goals and recommend solutions when necessary.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or relevant field preferred, orMinimum five years of experience working in a manufacturing environment related to planning.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communicator with both verbal and written skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle)
