Job responsibilities

  • Develop and implement content design strategies for multiple components of a product or a series of small products, ensure alignment with business requirements and user experience goals
  • Facilitate end-to-end discovery workshops with designers to gain a better understanding of the underlying narrative and optimal content architecture required to make the product intuitive and highly usable
  • Use content models and taxonomies to design, structure and organize digital content to effectively guide customers through the experience and simplify complex technical concepts
  • Collaborate with cross-product teams to develop consistent voice and narrative structures across products and services
  • Champion inclusive language for a diverse audience, ensure seamless, positive interactions throughout the customer journey
  • Developing content requirements and content strategy in partnership with product leadership and business leads
  • Overseeing, executing, and delivering user-centered content solutions that follow firm wide governance and best practices, and fulfill project requirements (business goals, user goals, controls, deadlines and quality)
  • Writing, creating, updating, and consolidating knowledge and other types of self-service content based on your strategic point of view - and where needed, removing outdated or unnecessary content
  • Contributing to evolving firm wide content standards, terminologies, content patterns and operations
  • Partnering with cross-functional product teams to ensure holistic and strategic journey optimization
  • Directing the structural design of product experience (navigation, labeling, flow)

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in content design, editing, writing, strategy, process, and architecture, focusing on digital products and platforms
  • Ability to design effective content architecture, organizing and structuring content for enhanced user experience and easy navigation within products or websites
  • Expertise in written and verbal storytelling, crafting clear, engaging content that effectively clarifies complex concepts for diverse audiences, adhering to industry standards and best practices
  • Extensive experience facilitating workshops for product and experience design, creating compelling content journeys
  • Advanced technical literacy and deep understanding of content platforms and their impact on user experience

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with Content Management Systems and Knowledge Management Systems

Job Responsibilities:

  • Use the firm’s award-winning research and thought leadership to create written digital content in the form of news and educational articles, newsletters and email templates, for both existing and prospective clients with a high net worth.
  • Identify emerging trends and timely content that is relevant for legacy planning, retirement, investing, and economy & markets.
  • Work with freelancers to create copy for a variety of multi-media content; including web-based articles, emails, and newsletters.
  • Partner closely with thought leaders and specialists, content creators and strategists, marketers and communicators across the company.
  • Leverage materials from other lines of business within J.P. Morgan to provide clients with relevant and timely content.
  • Effectively manage multiple strategic content projects.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience writing for digital content, news media, or communications.
  • A natural storyteller with a passion for getting creative, making the complex approachable, and bringing ideas to life.
  • Highly organized and collaborative thinker.
  • Experience in writing about financial topics like investments, trading, retirement and/or wealth management.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and partner with others.
  • Strong initiative, energy and confidence.
  • Genuine interest in the world of financial markets and personal finance.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience writing for a high net worth or ultra high net worth audience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Occasional domestic travel may be required.
