Responsibilities:
Distribute debt/equity products to assigned account base with limited direction from more senior associates.
Develop and maintain client relationships and determine which products best meet clients' investment needs.
Study market relationships and current market conditions to increase account/market penetration.
Educate clients on various hedging products that can mitigate potential exposures and assist in the execution of hedging strategies.
Evaluate clients' business to identify potential exposures.
Assist clients in implementing required ISDA and Dodd Frank documentation to execute hedging transaction.
Facilitate desk-client interaction, generating innovative trade ideas and assessing the credit and macroeconomic environment.
Work on pitches and live transactions, including modeling, portfolio analysis, investor analysis, as well as prepare presentations and review legal documentation.
Interact with rating agencies, investors, asset managers, and lawyers.
Identify revenue opportunities for equity and fixed income financial derivatives.
Analyze financial instruments including equities, bonds, futures, swaps to advise clients on the best implementation route for their investments.
Evaluate the market environment to structure and distribute financial derivatives for clients to gain market access and/or hedge their portfolios efficiently.
Assess regulatory impact on balance sheet and/or capital metrics and proposing relevant structures to clients.
Provide in-depth market insight and elaborate investment ideas based on client’s portfolios.
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or related: and
5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related Finance occupation.
Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
Identify revenue opportunities for equity and fixed income financial derivatives;
Analyze financial instruments including equities, bonds, futures, swaps to advise clients on the best implementation route for their investments;
