Job Description

Are you interested in an co-op opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) degree to participate in 6 month co-op opportunities at our site in Cambridge, MA. Support the Health Economics, Market Access, and Reimbursement (HEMAR) Global Leadership Team to deliver reimbursement, health policy, and market access knowledge, experience, and expertise for Philips’ 15 distinct business units.

  • Apply your health policy and/or business expertise and training to collaborate with a team of health policy and reimbursement experts on challenging projects aimed at solving real-world healthcare problems.
  • Support the analysis of reimbursement trends and review/analyze US regulations including Medicare payment or coverage in proposed and final payment rules, CPT/HCPCS coding changes, fees schedules, cost files, coverage status, and other government regulations, RFIs, and decrees impacting Philips products and solutions.
  • Conduct research for internal audiences on evolving global reimbursement trends and implications for Philips portfolio to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze secondary data for both US payers related to reimbursement changes and trends and organize data from international markets as required.
  • Assist with market assessment opportunities for business investments, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.

  • Experience with researching health policy considerations andunderstanding of health care systems globally

Your role:

  • Supports Compensation Leads with stakeholder management and leads or contributes to projects involving salary reviews, promotions, and market adjustments. Collaborates closely with People Partners (PPS) and Talent Acquisition (TA) on compensation-related processes and initiatives. Conducts salary benchmarking and job evaluations to determine appropriate compensation levels and ensure equitable pay practices across the organization.

  • Participates in compensation surveys and analyzes data to provide market insights and recommendations. Supports the annual compensation review cycle, including data audits, system preparation, and reporting. Maintains compensation structures such as salary ranges, geographic pay differentials, and job classifications. Prepares and presents ad hoc compensation analyses and recommendations to inform decision-making and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Contributes to the design and successful implementation of reward programs, processes, and tools. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local compensation regulations in the U.S. by staying current on relevant legislation and best practices. Participates in cross-functional projects as needed within the Total Rewards function to support broader organizational goals.

  • You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience in compensation, total rewards or related areas

  • Your skills include proficiency in Microsoft Excel, other data analysis tools, and Power BI; possess strong analytical and quantitative skills. Also, have experience with HRIS and compensation software (preferably Workday), as well as knowledge of compensation laws and regulations.

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field.

The goal of this role is to enhance operational and financial performance while minimizing risk by ensuring all parties comply with contract terms. You’ll manage and analyze a range of agreements—including local contracts,Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) relationships, buying programs, and quarterly group buys—while also handling renewals, renegotiations, reconciliations, and credits. This role requires maintaining up-to-date customer records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and applying LEAN strategies to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.


Your role:

  • Manage end-to-end commercial contract execution and system implementation across SAP, Conga (i.e., Apttus), and Salesforce (SFDC) systems for a core zone with contract values exceeding $100M. Oversaw contract setup, pricing, and compliance for major GPOs and IDNs, including Health Trust and BayCare. Lead data migration, QA testing, and UAT for new CPQ and CLM systems.

  • Cross-functionally collaborate and provide customer support to Contract Managers, Sales, Finance, Marketing, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate contract setup and execution. Provide issue resolution, escalation management, and investigative support to address a wide range of customer and operational challenges.

  • Analyze, report and deliver actionable insights through sales and finance reports, Excel dashboards, and pricing strategies to support revenue growth. Applied LEAN methodologies to streamline workflows, update work instructions, and enhance compliance for process improvement. Maintained accurate records of contracted equipment and services using SAP, Salesforce.com (SFDC) and Conga.

  • You have 3+ years of experience in a contracts analyst position where you used critical thinking; problem-solving skills to analyze, identify and mitigate risks in contracts; you can display flexibility and adaptability to a changing environment and are able to manage and prioritize multiple projects, working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Your skills include strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
