As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), your journey begins obtaining your Securities Industry licenses, where you receive dedicated and personalized classes for your Securities Industry Essentials [SIE], Series 7 and Series 66 Exams. Once you obtain your licenses, you will be taught the foundational skills needed to be an advisor – from acquiring, building and managing client relationships to considering a client’s complex financial picture and guiding them with advice and solutions to help them live their best financial lives, all while humanizing financial interactions. Once you have reached your key milestones, you will begin working in a financial center where you will help to deliver Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions and approach to client care. We will equip you with everything you need as you move through the stages of development.

Once you have demonstrated success as a licensed Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I, you will typically progress into the next role, Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where you will continue to practice the skills you’ve learned by growing and deepening relationships within a portfolio of clients. As a successful Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, you will have the opportunity to advance in many roles within Bank of America and Merrill. The Academy will support you along the way with dedicated programs, tools, and resources throughout your career journey.

This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements.   • Build your network. Starting at a financial center, you’ll interact with banking customers, small business owners and higher net worth clients alike. You’ll be able to leverage our relationships with one out of two households in the U.S. to help eventually grow your business.
  • Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice, deliver client reviews/presentations with confidence, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals and life priorities.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners. Connect clients to the solutions we provide through Bank of America and Merrill to meet virtually all their financial needs.

The HRIS Advisor will be a strategic individual contributor responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of People Operations (HR) technology and reporting capabilities. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of HR best practices and the employee lifecycle. Data insights will be leveraged by the successful candidate to drive impactful People Operations initiatives, enhance the employee experience, and align our People strategies with our overall business objectives.


HR Technology Expertise:

  • Lead the implementation and optimization of our investment in the Workday technology.
  • Partner with IT, Finance, Legal and our own People Team to ensure a seamless integration coupled with data integrity across all HR systems and platforms.
  • Ensure Workday is set up for the best experience for our candidates, employees, managers, leaders and people teams.

Data Analytics & Reporting:

  • Establish and maintain robust HR data analytics and reporting frameworks, providing insights into key HR metrics and trends.
  • Design and deliver dashboards, reports, and presentations to inform HR and business leaders on workforce performance, engagement, retention, and other key People Operations indicators.
  • Leverage predictive analytics to forecast workforce needs, identify potential risks (e.g., employee turnover), and inform proactive HR strategies.

Operational Excellence & Compliance:

  • Optimize and streamline People Operations processes and workflows, leveraging automation and technology to improve efficiency and reduce administrative burden.
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations across all HR systems and reporting.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust internal controls over HR-related financial processes to ensure SOX compliance.
  • Proven track record in safeguarding sensitive employee data and ensuring compliance with data privacy and security regulations relevant to SOC 2, SOX, GDPR, CCPA, CPRA amongst others.

Indirect Leadership & Development:

  • Promote a data-driven mindset within the People Operations team and across the entire People Team, empowering individuals to leverage data and technology to enhance their work and impact.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

Here’s What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in HR/People Operations, with at least 5 years in a role focused on HR systems and reporting.
  • Proven experience in leading the implementation and optimization of HRIS platforms (Workday strongly desired).
  • Deep understanding of HR data analytics and reporting best practices, including experience with data visualization tools (Prism, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong program and project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex HR technology initiatives.

  • The salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $120/hr to $150/hr. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.

Job Description:

As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), your journey begins obtaining your Securities Industry licenses, where you receive dedicated and personalized classes for your Securities Industry Essentials [SIE], Series 7 and Series 66 Exams. Once you obtain your licenses, you will be taught the foundational skills needed to be an advisor – from acquiring, building and managing client relationships to considering a client’s complex financial picture and guiding them with advice and solutions to help them live their best financial lives, all while humanizing financial interactions. Once you have reached your key milestones, you will begin working in a financial center where you will help to deliver Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions and approach to client care. We will equip you with everything you need as you move through the stages of development.

Once you have demonstrated success as a licensed Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I, you will typically progress into the next role, Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where you will continue to practice the skills you’ve learned by growing and deepening relationships within a portfolio of clients. As a successful Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, you will have the opportunity to advance in many roles within Bank of America and Merrill. The Academy will support you along the way with dedicated programs, tools, and resources throughout your career journey.

This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Pursuant to the SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Since your position requires SAFE Act registration, you will be required to register and to submit to the required SAFE Act background check and registration process. Failure to obtain and/or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in your immediate termination.

  • Grow your business knowledge by using a defined consultative approach with clients to systematically identify client needs and appropriate solutions.
  • Earn your Security Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 licenses (63 & 65 accepted, in lieu of 66) though structured lessons and dedicated study time. You must obtain your SIE within 30 days of being hired & your Series 7 & 66 within 120 Days - a requirement for the role.
  • Build your network. Starting at a financial center, you’ll interact with banking customers, small business owners and higher net worth clients alike. You’ll be able to leverage our relationships with one out of two households in the U.S. to help eventually grow your business.
  • Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice, deliver client reviews/presentations with confidence, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals and life priorities.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners. Connect clients to the solutions we provide through Bank of America and Merrill to meet virtually all their financial needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.
  • Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity.
  • Experience in cultivating client relationships, accessing needs and recommending solutions.
  • Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Demonstrates a results-driven mindset while prioritizing client’s interest in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Executes multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Learns and adapts to new technology or applications.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience
