Your key responsibilities

  • Manages workflow and negotiates assignments for executive assistants based on client need and resources
  • Solicits on going feedback from customers to evaluate and coach executive assistants on their performance
  • Sets up full project plans including; objectives, milestones, priorities, team, calendar and nature of deliverables
  • Focuses on potential project issues to prioritize; resources, timing, quality, scope and risk
  • Demonstrates proactive business development by initiating discussions with existing clients on possible additional work and satisfaction with current support
  • Coordinates and assists with budget planning and is responsible for operating within approved budget
  • Must meet or exceed the needs of our internal clients by partnering with other groups within the matrix organization, cultivating those relationships, aligning people and processes, and identifying workplace efficiencies to add value.

The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $106,700 to $188,900. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.

Your impact

By joining us as a Geotechnical Engineer, you will lead geotechnical tasks, provide leadership to geotechnical staff, and lead the delivery for on a wide variety of projects, with a focus on transport infrastructure and water markets. . These projects will include both conventional design-bid-build projects, as well as design-build projects.

Your responsibilities will include leading projects in the development and implementation of geotechnical data collection programs, geotechnical analyses, preparation of reports, development of contract documents, and providing support during project construction. Each day, you will have the opportunity to follow projects from concept development through the construction phase with our engineers.

You will also be responsible for coordination and oversight of subsurface investigation programs, preparation of geotechnical engineering and foundation recommendation reports, preparation of geotechnical specifications, design and analysis of foundation and ground retention systems, and construction monitoring experience of pile foundations and drilled shafts.

Technical skills that are required to serve in this role include, but are not necessarily limited to, knowledge and experience in the following areas:

• Exploration methods, geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring, and laboratory testing for soil and rock;

• Experience with design, construction, and inspection of water and transport infrastructure projects;

• Design of typical geotechnical structures, such as shallow and deep foundations, earth retaining structures, embankment and cut slopes, and ground improvement;

• Preparation of technical reports, design drawings and specifications

• Familiarity with computer programs for geotechnical analyses, such as SETTLE3D, APILE, LPILE, GRLWEAP, DeepEx, SLIDE or SLOPE, MATHCAD, FB-Multipier, PLAXIS 2D and 3D, or FLAC 2D and 3D; and
