MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate financial accounting/audit work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related field and 4 years of financial accounting/audit work experience.

Must have 2 years of experience supervising the planning and execution on audits of internal controls over financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAS and U.S. GAAP.

Must have 2 years of experience supervising the planning, execution, reporting on audits of financial statements prepared in accordance with U.S. GAAS and U.S. GAAP.

Must have 2 years of experience supervising audit teams consisting of two or more staff members.

Must have 2 years of audit experience, including SOX (ICFR), with a public accounting firm that is registered with PCAOB.

Must have 2 years of experience with audits of management review controls and testing of information produced by the entity.

Must have 1 year of experience in the use of audit documentation software.

Must have active US CPA certification; or foreign certificate in accountancy and sufficient coursework/experience requirements as determined by the work location state Board of Accountancy to obtain US CPA certification.

Requires domestic travel up to 30% in order to serve client needs.

  • Reports directly to the Lead QA Manager and functions as a matrix organization providing QA oversight and support across all projects
  • Reviews DB’s field QC programs and test & inspection plans and provides feedback to DB QC Manager and HCAA Project Staff
  • Reviews critical submittals and shop drawings from DB’s and provides feedback
  • Becomes familiar with all pertinent Contract documents as well as Project software and controls systems
  • Reviews BIM-360 process (established by DB Team) for Tracking Issues, Checklists and Daily Reports
  • Conducts unannounced QA audits of select DB implementation of QC plans including documentation by DB and HCAA field staff as well as direct field observations to achieve consistent application of standards across all projects
  • Reviews & comments on critical testing & inspection reports including all results below required standards
  • Verifies noncompliance recommendations by HCAA field staff and issues QC noncompliance reports to DB including closeout confirmation
  • Documents and shares QA/QC lessons learned and best practices among projects
  • Conducts QA/QC coordination meetings with DB’s and HCAA field staffs
  • Tracks & reports QA activities, results and key performance indicators for master plan monthly reports
  • Provides technical oversight and coaching of HCAA field staff in select QA focus areasin order toleverage QA effectiveness in the field
  • Is available to work extended hours and weekends, as needed, with appropriate notification as work progresses and work schedules dictate
  • Provides open and honest communication to HCAA Staff and others as required, both oral and written, depending on the situation at hand. Works closely with QA Manager on dissemination of information.
  • Participates in select meetings with DB’s and HCAA field staff as needed including OAC meetings, QA/QC Meetings, Pre-Installation Meetings, Follow-Up Inspections, etc.
