You will work with the world’s largest computing infrastructure. Your work involves some periods' independence from your team. You will learn the daily operations of a large data center. You will be working and troubleshooting hands on with servers and network equipment.You will interact with other teams like logistics, networking, security, and etc in order to get the job done. There is never a dull moment as each day presents itself with different challenges. Work with multiple teams (DC operations, DC Engineering, Logistics, Security and Projects etc.)Some of the key responsibilities you will undertake are:
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot all hardware and related problems
- Perform basic level OS troubleshooting
- Perform basic level configuration troubleshooting
- Perform replacement of our parts of and devices
- Perform storage media (HDD, SSD etc.) sanitization and destruction tasks
- Maintain a high level of system reliability by prioritizing resolution of trouble tickets efficiently
- Follow DC operations, Logistics, Security and Safety related processes and guidelines

- 3+ years of architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc. experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years experience delivering application architecture/design/modernization projects, including cloud-based solutioning (AWS or equivalent), with AI and automation
- 3+ years experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices
- AWS Professional level certification, or Associate's degree or above

PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION
As Senior Manager, 3PL Distribution Centre Operations (Australia), you will have end-to-end accountability for all distribution centre operations across the Australian market.
You’ll oversee omni-channel fulfilment for B2B and B2C channels, including wholesale, retail, and e-commerce, by leading and optimising performance through multiple 3PL partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the execution of the 3PL strategy across all Australian distribution centres to deliver best-in-class omni-channel fulfilment
Manage end-to-end logistics operations covering warehousing, transportation, and fulfilment across wholesale, franchise, retail, and e-commerce channels
Develop and manage supply chain budgets including DC and transportation costs, ensuring alignment with cost targets, inflation assumptions, and 3PL rate structures
Ensure successful go-live and ongoing management of new multi-channel distribution facilities, coordinating with local, regional, and global stakeholders (3PL, engineering, IT, project teams)
Drive continuous improvement initiatives with 3PL partners focused on productivity, cost optimisation, and service enhancement
Manage inventory accuracy and reconciliation across systems (WMS, AFS), ensuring transparency, timely adjustments, and proactive stock visibility for Sales and Customer Service
Lead vendor management activities including contract negotiation, renewal, and performance management to ensure best-in-market service and cost competitiveness
Monitor and report key performance indicators (service levels, cost-to-serve, inventory integrity, outbound delivery performance, sustainability metrics)
Champion sustainability initiatives across distribution and transportation operations, in line with regional and global goals
Ensure full compliance with safety, security, and risk management standards across all DC operations
Collaborate with global teams to implement the adidas ADCE performance ecosystem, driving standardisation and achieving gold-level certification
Develop future operational capability plans and nurture team development, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration

Minimum 10 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Distribution Operations
At least 5 years’ experience in in-house fulfilment operations and/or management of 3PL fulfilment partners
Demonstrated success in omni-channel fulfilment management and multi-site operational leadership
Experience in retail, FMCG, or sporting goods sectors is advantageous
Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
