Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for the creation of a yearly NAM strategy for each area under their remit. This should take into account consumer trend and behavior, Global and Market business needs, what has and has not worked previously
• Ensure execution of strategy across each area of the business (taking direction from paper to consumer)
• Direct all channel teams that support Brand, SPW/TR and Purpose (set direction, oversee briefs, ensure they know how they can support, what success looks like, clear obstacles, keep accountabilities etc)
• Support VP Brand Communication in MaEx process: building, managing, analysis, forecasting and reporting
• Be able to look across the categories to coordinate, money and resources strategically to accomplish our business goals
• Ensure the execution of the Global/NAM calendar (including any locally planned and globally approved Market-specific initiatives)
• Lead local Brand Campaign creation within Global guidelines while servicing NAM sport needs
• Partnership with Media team for Brand Media and category media planning, decisions and execution
• Set reactive strategy and coordinate with BUs to ensure a consistent approach and application of best practies
• Responsible for key KPIs for each area of responsibility and corrective actions / learnings against them § Oversight of agency roster and selection to ensure strong relationships, good direction, diversity of skill sets and perspectives and appropriate pricing (in partnership with procurement)
• Oversee sell-in tools for key milestones
• Consistent planning and communication with BU teams to ensure marketing and product plans are complimentary
• Lead by example in driving a high employee engagement and high performance culture
• Identify and develop high-potential talents, to fuel the team's succession plan
• Oversee full team, give feedback, counsel, help to ensuring strongest team possible

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.), with an emphasis in Marketing/Business/Sales preferred, and
• At least 10 years sports or other product marketing or related experience, 6 years at the managerial level in the Sporting Goods Industry.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maximize sales & qualitative market share with respective accounts
• Set objectives, strategies and tactics and drive long-term business planning with assigned accounts by determining sales, gross-profit plans, implementing business, digital and marketing strategies.
• Develop the assigned account portfolio by analysing account specifics and market trends, identifying new opportunities for growth and providing recommendations
• Analyse consumer demand, category trends and competitor assortment on the account’s platform and identify gaps in current assortment with the aim to drive sell-through across all customer touchpoints in online and offline channels
• Proactively search, address, evaluate and service the commercial needs of the accounts and drive key digital acceleration initiatives
• Optimize individual accounts’ profitability
• Drive the monthly sales forecast process (IBP) for respective accounts on category level
• Monitor competitors’ activities within our customers environment and propose win-win action plans to increase market shares
• Continuously improve and develop key sales, digital and customer service processes to provide excellence in service and efficiency in the organization
• Set business targets and provide clear directions for direct reports, mentor and develop individual team members

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Sales manager with a proven track record in sales and key account management in mid-to-large sales organization (Key Account Manager, Senior Key Account Manager)
• Strong analytical skills and digital business acumen
• High degree of commercial and business acumen (e.g. sales, retail, trade marketing, customer service, finance and controlling
• Be able to work in virtual teams and ability to lead cross-functional projects
• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication and negotiating abilities as well as relationship management
• Flexibility, initiative and determination
• Ability to coach, manage, motivate and develop direct reports
• Fluent in written and spoken in English. Skills in other languages are an added plus

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

• University degree preferably in Business or Economy
• Functional: > 4 years’ experience in sales, marketing and / or consulting area
• Industry: consumer driven, ideally apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG
• Leadership: ideally people management experience
• Exposure: Sports / Fashion

• Create channel strategy in alignment with country GM and management team / direct stakeholders to reach expected goals

• Develop strong strategic relationship with main retailers to facilitate implementation of our strategy
• Lead the wholesale team to develop people and identify talents

• Maintain the company policies, processes and guidelines at a high level to ensure compliancy in our daily processes

• Influence internal and external stakeholders to reach the expected targets

• Develop a sell out strategy and action plans with his/her team in WHS to ensure high performance standards of our brands in store

• Lead go to market process for WHS to ensure pre sale plan execution

• Lead the strategic planning for major customers (STAPs) both internally and externally to ensure smooth strategy execution
• Influence the local plan as part of the management team to contribute to the success or our company in the country

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

• University degree in business, ideally with sales and marketing focus or equivalent professional experience
• 8-10 years Sales and/or business development and/ or Finance experience
• 5 years’ management experience

Assist management in day-to-day store maintenance while providing excellent service and observing and maintaining all store policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Ensures the highest level of adidas service is given to each customer.

• As needed, complete any regular sales transactions involving cash, credit, checks, etc.

• Involved indirectly with ticketing of products as well as checking paperwork against items received.

• Assists in product flow from stockroom to sales floor on a fill in basis.

• Ensure that Company assets and stock is always secured in order to alleviate shrinkage.

• Assists in the development of displays of merchandise or follow suggestions or schedules provided by the store management team.

• Attain proficiency with the point-of-sale system by acquiring system utilization skills. Ensure integrity is maintained through attention to policy and procedure.

• Uses selling techniques such as add on sales and describing technical information to customers to enhance salesmanship and reach store and position sales goals.

• Greets customers in the store and assists them in finding the right product. Occasionally, serves primarily as a Greeter at the front door during busy workdays.
