Sales, Account Manager- General Imaging Ultrasound (Los Angeles)

You’ll be an integral part of this dynamic team as an Account Manager for General Imaging Ultrasound. You will be responsible for driving overall sales and market penetration in the assigned territory.

Your role:

  • Understands customer requirements and provides consultative solutions meeting their needs.
  • Develop and owns strategies for customers within assigned territory that will achieve business growth targets.
  • Ensures order processing, architectural service, construction, and shipment schedules to equipment installation are orderly and timely by communicating with logistics and project managers.
  • Negotiates solutions and closes deals by reaching agreements with mutual satisfaction to Customers and Philips.
  • Maintains constant communication with all internal and external parties during the progression of the deal.
  • Prepares for several negotiation scenarios. Obtain clean orders at the best possible price.

You're the right fit if:

  • Minimum 2 years of hospital sales experience. Medical Capital equipment sales experience (preferred)
  • Proven sales experience including ability to account manage, acquire new business, and effectively manage your assigned territory/funnel to meet Philips’ goals.
  • Bachelor's in areas such as Customer Relationship Management, Sales and Business Development, Account Management in B2C environment or equivalent
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • Excellent communication including strategic presentations up to c-suite.

About the Job

We’re looking for an experienced, full-time Lead Artist to guide the art team toward a compelling and clear art direction for one of our game titles. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the team toward artistic excellence in collaboration with the game director and project leadership. You will both oversee project planning, resourcing and art execution with the support of the studio art director and a team of artists.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the game director, studio art director, and art team to drive and define the vision for the game. Responsible for championing the vision for art throughout development.

  • Define and communicate needs, resourcing, priorities, and process to achieve a high-quality bar for art on an in-development game. Advocate for what the art team needs to be successful.

  • Creates guiding pieces of art, documentation, and other resources to drive a cohesive and clear vision for the game’s art direction.

  • Collaborate with the producers and game director to create and deliver high-level plans for discipline sprints, milestones, and phases.

  • Delivers timely and accurate feedback to individual contributors on the project, working through the art team and other collaborators to execute the creative vision.

  • Collaborate with external vendors, freelancers, and co-dev partners.

  • Provides regular updates to managers and project/studio leadership to inform feedback to teammates.

  • Represent art in meetings/presentations with partners with a high level of clarity and expertise.

  • Provides mentorship and coaching to members of the art team, leading them both toward project success and individual skill improvement. Shares feedback and insights regularly with the studio art director and art manager.

Skills and Abilities:

  • 10 years of experience crafting video game art, with 3 years as a Lead Artist or Art Director.

  • Deftly navigates and leads through the uncertainty of game development and creative discovery.

  • Extensive experience in illustration and/or 3d art with the proven ability to develop a unique and cohesive visual style in collaboration with others.

  • Proven ability to visually solve problems in collaboration with the broader game team, including other artists, engineering leads, and design leads.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication. Comfortable interacting with and presenting to all levels of the company.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong desire to iterate and improve on processes.

  • Demonstrated fundamentals of leadership, including clear and proactive communication, meeting moderation, and oversight of large cross-disciplinary initiatives.

  • Ability to manage multiple competing tasks and be self-directed to meet deadlines in a quickly evolving environment with little to no supervision.

  • Positive attitude and ability to receive and provide objective and constructive feedback.

  • Ability to coach, manage, mitigate, and prioritize through stressful situations for you and your team.

  • A strategic thinker with the ability to identify risks, opportunities, and innovations.

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $120,000-250,000.

  • During negotiations, clearly and succinctly communicate solutions to internal production and business partners as well as external producers and production personnel (e.g. Line Producer/UPM, Production Office Coordinator, Location Manager).

  • Efficiently resolve issues without causing delays, adapting to the fast-paced nature of production legal work.

Requirements:

This candidate must also be able to work proactively and reliably on multiple projects under tight timeframes in a fast-paced production environment being able to quickly assess risk and exercise strong judgment in the face of ambiguity.

The successful candidate will also possess the following:

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a solutions-driven mindset.

  • The ability to organize, clarify, and communicate complex ideas quickly, succinctly and accurately.

  • Confidence in counseling business partners and making decisions that have legal & business impacts.

  • Ability to flourish in our unique ​​company culture, reflecting our values and leadership expectations.
