The Role will work well within a small team and perform a wide variety of electronic, mechanical, or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies in a clean room environment. The Product Builder will be responsible for set up and operation of automatic or semi-automatic machines and may also perform other tasks including, but not limited to, placing labels on packages and putting data sheets with product.

The key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Responsible for manufacturing consistently high-quality product in accordance with Boston Scientific manufacturing procedures and quality standards.
  • Monitor and verify quality in accordance with operating procedures.
  • Fully adhere to procedures in relation to production methods, completion of documentation, current Good Manufacturing Practices and safety requirements.
  • Proactively promotes safety across the site.
  • Participate in continuous improvement programmes and / or team projects to enhance our quality, customer service and cost.
  • Contribute as part of a team in achieving and exceeding the line core metrics.
  • Undertake training in line with business needs in order to continually develop skills and knowledge to meet the demands of the business now and in the future.
  • Provide cross training to employees.
  • Continuously drive and promote our core values and behaviours.

Required Qualifications

  • Leaving Certificate with passed subjects to Include English and Maths or equivalent required (HETAC Level 5).
  • Leaving Cert applied is equal to level 4 and does not meet criteria

Desired Experience and Skills

  • Previous work experience in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical environments is desirable.
  • Strong aptitude for operating equipment in a GMP environment.
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate a strong motivation towards teamwork.
  • Must have demonstrated computer literacy.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Must be flexible, highly motivated and committed with the ability to deliver results by taking the initiative and taking pride in consistently delivering high quality work on time.
  • Be a self-starter, a quick learner and have a positive and enthusiastic attitude whilst driving our continuous improvement culture.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated cybersecurity professional to serve as the Cloud & Mobile Malware Control Owner within the Global Malware Defense team. This role is critical to advancing the enterprise’s malware prevention and detection capabilities across cloud and mobile platforms. As the Cloud & Mobile Malware Control Owner, you will lead efforts to assess, enhance, and govern malware controls specific to cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and mobile technologies, ensuring alignment with enterprise security standards and threat management strategies.

Control Ownership & Governance:

Own and manage malware controls related to cloud and mobile platforms. Ensure controls are effective, measurable, and aligned with enterprise risk tolerance.

Technology Risk Oversight:

Identify and assess risks associated with cloud and mobile malware threats. Partner with risk and oversight teams to implement mitigation strategies.

Metrics & Reporting:

Develop and maintain operational metrics and dashboards to track control performance. Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay current with emerging malware tactics targeting cloud and mobile platforms.

What we are looking for:

  • Extensive number of experience in malware analysis and incident response, with a focus on cloud and/or mobile platforms.
  • Understanding of cloud service provider security models (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with mobile malware analysis (Android/iOS), including static and dynamic techniques.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native security tools and mobile threat defense platforms.
  • Ability to assess malware threats and extract Indicators of Compromise (IoCs).
  • Documentation and reporting skills.
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments with cross-functional teams.

Skills that will help:

  • Experience with sandbox technologies and virtualised analysis environments.
  • Knowledge of mobile app reverse engineering tools (JADX, Frida, MobSF).
  • Familiarity with cloud logging and monitoring tools (CloudTrail, Azure Monitor).
  • Experience with SIEM platforms and event correlation.
  • Knowledge of forensic artifacts in cloud and mobile environments.
  • Experience with mobile security products like Lookout, CrowdStrike Mobile
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, AWS Guard Duty, Google Cloud Security Center)
  • CCSP, CCSK, GPCS, GMOB, GCIH, GREM, GCFA, GCFE, CISSP, or equivalent certifications.

We would like to invite applications for the role of an permanent Lead Product Development Scientist position at our Waterford Site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the development and manufacture of inhaled drug delivery systems, including dry powder inhalers and pressurised metered-dose inhalers (pMDIs).
  • Inputting into manufacturing processes strategies from concept through scale up to commercialisation.
  • Design and develop novel formulations for inhaled drug delivery systems, including dry powder inhalers and pressurised metered-dose inhalers (pMDIs).
  • Responsible for identifying Critical Process Parameters (CPPs) through Design of Experiments studies and developing robust manufacturing processes using Quality by Design (QbD) and Quality Risk Management (QRM) principles.
  • Developing professional relationship with TGO and lead process technical transfers to commercial partners including pre-submission process validations manufacturing if required.
  • Preparing and review documentation for regulatory submissions (IND, NDA, ANDA, etc.)
  • Working as an integral member of a larger team alongside Formulation
  • Pre-formulation and reverse engineering of products identifying Critical Material Attributes (CMAs) and Critical Quality Attributes (CQAs).
  • Use contemporary Design of Experiments (DoE), data analysis and risk management techniques to assess development strategies and prioritize activities.
  • Work as part of a team who will be responsible for overall product development of novel respiratory therapies from concept through to clinical trials and commercialisation.
  • Identification of innovative opportunities to support process and formulation optimisation approaches.
Your Experience And Qualifications

Are you….

  • Bachelors, Masters or PhD qualified in physical sciences, chemical engineering (or related subjects)
  • Bringing industry experience within a Pharmaceutical R&D based Scientist role
  • Experienced in process development, drug product manufacturing and process scale-up is essential

Do you have….

  • Experience in DoE design, data modelling and risk management would be beneficial
  • The ability to work as a flexible member of a project team, be quality orientated, be aware and work to tight deadlines
  • Adaptable personality-able to work with changing priorities and the flexibility to re-prioritise work schedule
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organisational skills and computer skills
