Responsibilities:

• Project managing the implementation of treasury solutions with new and existing clients to Bank of America - covering core product solutions / service offerings

• Working in partnership with the client to create and agree an implementation delivery timeline, clearly communicate the project status; identify issues, resolution steps and deadlines

• Coordinating with internal Business Partners as necessary

• Attending conference calls where specific cash management and client knowledge will assist with the execution of the solution

• Providing support and guidance to Sales Officers where required/requested during the sales process

• You will have an extensive number of years experience within a project management role

• Being able to demonstrate extensive experience with client facing roles, both orally and written, preferably within a similar client servicing function.

• Experience dealing with corporate clients at all levels in a positive and professional manner, with the ability to work under pressure

• Experience in Treasury Management products

• Project management/process coordination experience concentrating on cash management solutions for corporate organisations, including exposure to elements such as electronic payments, SWIFT messaging, BACS, CHAPS, Foreign Exchange (FX) and Money Markets (MM)

As a SCADA Specialist, your objective is to support the delivery of solutions that enhance monitoring, control, planning, and operational capabilities across energy, water, and industrial infrastructures.

Your key responsibilities

We expect the SCADA Specialist to perform activities including but not limited to:

  • Lead implementation and upgrades of SCADA systems across utility, transmission, and / or water sector operations, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality compliance.
  • Develop detailed technical specifications and requirements to support system design, vendor selection, and project execution.
  • Develop project and product delivery strategies aligned with clients’ objectives and long-term operational goals.
  • Define integration strategies for SCADA systems with IT/OT platforms including GIS, DMS, OMS, and asset management systems, tailored to sector-specific needs.
  • Oversee configuration and commissioning of telemetry infrastructure, including RTUs, PLCs, IEDs, and field devices, ensuring accurate data acquisition and reliable communications.
  • Ensure robust implementation and governance of industry-standard protocols (IEC 60870-5-101/104, DNP3, BACnet, OPC UA, ICCP, Multi-speak, Modbus, Profibus, etc.) across energy and water and industrial domains.
  • Collaborate with control room engineers, field technicians, and operations teams to ensure SCADA systems meet real-time operational needs and enhance situational awareness.
  • Design and lead execution of testing plans, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Provide expert guidance on SCADA best practices, emerging technologies, and innovation opportunities across energy and water sectors.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure effective communication, issue resolution, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with SCADA implementation and integration, developing contingency plans to ensure system resilience.
  • Conduct end-user training and maintain comprehensive documentation for system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Consult utility leadership to anticipate future system, data, and organizational needs, and collaborate on roadmap, vision, and delivery plans.

Skills and attributes for success:

  • Experience working with or within utilities and infrastructure operators across electricity, water, gas, or renewables. Proven technical experience in operational technology systems and field device integration.
  • Proven ability to lead and deliver technical projects with high quality, regardless of team size or complexity.
  • Hands-on expertise in SCADA systems, including configuration, commissioning, and integration with RTUs, PLCs, IEDs, and telemetry networks.
  • Familiarity with the full lifecycle of technology implementation projects—from requirements gathering and design to testing, deployment, and support.
  • Technical competence in SCADA and related technologies supporting solutions across energy, water, and industrial sectors, including grid management, remote operations, and process automation.
  • Understanding of the impact of renewable energy integration on SCADA operations, including implications for data acquisition, control logic, and grid stability.
  • Strong analytical and data processing skills, with experience translating operational data into actionable insights for control room and field operations.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols and data standards such as IEC 60870-5-101/104, DNP3, Modbus, Profibus, BACnet, OPC UA, ICCP, and CIM.
  • Experience managing the design, build, and test phases of SCADA and related OT applications.
  • Familiarity with technology procurement processes, including requirements development, vendor evaluation, and contracting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
