Supplier Relationship Management (SRM):

  • Develop and implement supplier management strategies to optimize supplier performance, cost-effectiveness, and risk mitigation.
  • Oversee supplier selection, evaluation, onboarding, and contract negotiations.
  • Establish strong supplier relationships to drive innovation and long-term value creation.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Monitor and enhance supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and scorecards.

Materials Management (MM):

  • Lead and manage end-to-end materials management processes, including procurement, inventory control, and logistics coordination.
  • Optimize inventory levels to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory while ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Oversee material requirements planning (MRP) and ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
  • Implement SAP MM best practices to streamline procurement and inventory workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, operations, and IT, to ensure seamless material management.

SAP System Management & Continuous Improvement:

  • Ensure proper configuration and utilization of SAP SRM and SAP MM modules to support business operations.
  • Work with IT teams to troubleshoot system issues and enhance functionality based on business needs.
  • Drive process automation and digital transformation initiatives in procurement and materials management.
  • Provide training and support to users to maximize SAP system effectiveness.

Strategic Planning & Leadership:

  • Develop procurement and materials management strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead a team of procurement and materials management professionals, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier risks, and industry developments to adapt procurement strategies accordingly.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in procurement, supplier management, and materials management, preferably in an SAP-enabled environment.
  • Strong expertise in SAP SRM and SAP MM modules with hands-on configuration and process optimization experience.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing procurement teams and supplier relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, contract negotiation, and risk management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Certifications:

  • SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP SRM and SAP MM
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or equivalent
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) (optional but beneficial)
